Weitzman
Peter Weitzman is a Managing Director in the FCC Advisory practice out of Capgemini’s New York office. He brings data analytics skills including data modeling and visualization, advanced database experience across multiple platforms, and subject matter expertise drawn from in-depth examinations of banking systems and controls to assist clients with controls reviews and other technical assessments.
Mr. Weitzman has led reviews for a large and diverse set of compliance tools across a broad range of financial institutions. His team of compliance and technology experts provide Model Validation and other Financial Crime technology maintenance and configuration skillsets to assist our clients in understanding what their risks are and how to effectively mitigate the risks through the use of technology.
In prior roles, Mr. Weitzman focused on complex data driven investigations, regulatory compliance in banking, construction monitorships, and the development of custom tools bringing cutting edge technology to bear on client’s needs. In the area of investigations, Mr. Weitzman has provided litigation support, including expert testimony, relating to allegations of insider trading, theft of trade secrets, and intellectual property theft, including alleged theft of high-frequency trading algorithms.
Mr. Weitzman received an M.S. in computer science from New York University and a B.A. from Cornell University.
