Cancellation and Refund Policies

Policies

ACAMS does not grant refunds or credit notes for ACAMS membership or its certification packages, unless stipulated by applicable local laws.

Candidates may reschedule their exam directly on the Pearson VUE site at no cost to them up to 72 hours before their scheduled exam. You may also reschedule or cancel via the Pearson VUE call center (1-866-389-8339) up to 72 hours before the exam for a fee of US$20. Pearson VUE call centers will answer questions related to online scheduling and rescheduling free of charge.

If you cancel or reschedule an exam within 24 to 72 hours of your scheduled time on the Pearson VUE site, there will be a fee of US$100 collected by Pearson VUE. There is an additional fee of US$20 for rescheduling an exam by phone during this window.

If you cancel your exam within 24 hours or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will need to contact ACAMS and you will be charged for a new authorization.

To obtain a new authorization, the candidate must:

  1. Request an invoice through the Contact Us page;
  2. Pay the examination fee for their new authorization to test (US$299 for Private members and US$199 for Public member); and
  3. Reschedule their exam through the test delivery website.

Cancellations:

If you are unable to attend a live seminar, you must send a notice of cancellation to info@acams.org up to five business days prior to the live seminar in order to receive a full refund. Late cancellations will be charged in full.

Cancellations:

If you are unable to attend a webinar or certificate course, you must send a notice of cancellation in the Help Center up to three business days prior to the event date in order to receive a full refund. Late cancellations will be charged in full.

Substitutions may be made at any time prior to the beginning of the conference, seminar, webinar or certificate course. Substitutions must be requested in writing, by sending an email to info@acams.org. Please note that if the transfer is made from an ACAMS member to a non-ACAMS member, you will be charged the difference in cost.

If you do not attend the conference or live seminar or log on to the webinar or certificate course at the scheduled date and time, you will be considered a no show. No shows are treated as late cancellations.

ACAMS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a conference, webinar, seminar or certificate course at any time. Registrants will have the opportunity to attend the rescheduled event or request a full refund.
