Dr Jamie
Ferrill
Dr Jamie Ferrill is the Head of Financial Crime Studies and Senior Lecturer in the same at the Australian Graduate School of Policing and Security, Charles Sturt University. She has nearly a decade of law enforcement experience, having worked for the Canadian federal government prior to commencing an academic career.
Jamie holds a PhD from Loughborough University (UK), a Master’s in Homeland Security Leadership from the University of Connecticut (US), and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Mount Royal University (Canada).
Jamie researches threats to national and economic security; her current focus is on the nexus of money laundering with border governance, transnational cooperation and collaboration, and organizational processes. Her latest book is titled Dirty Money: Financial Crime in Canada (McGill-Queen’s University Press).
