In the world of AML/AFC compliance, no country is an island — even when it is an island. Since Russia launched its full-scale assault on Ukraine, UK policy makers have introduced wide-ranging legislation and adopted a new national strategy to plug AML loopholes and strengthen sanctions enforcement, some of which have more wide-ranging implications. This session will explain how the new legislation and other policy changes would affect compliance professionals working for companies outside of the UK.
