Nick works for Geollect, a Roke company, where he holds the role of Intelligence Delivery and Innovation Manager, responsible for bridging customer and client needs with the effective delivery of intelligence products. Geollect’s work focuses heavily on investigating suspected sanctions evasion activity within the maritime domain using open source intelligence techniques. He has published work with the British think-tank the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) and the United States Naval Institute (USNI) focusing on Russian weapons smuggling operations in the Black Sea.
Nick is an ex-British Army officer, having served nine years with The Rifles where he deployed to Afghanistan and worked in the British Army’s Information Operations unit.
Proudly hailing from Somerset, Nick is an avid rugby player & a stoic supporter of Bath, with a keen interest in history, fitness, and current affairs, whilst also being a dab hand at chess. He is most content walking his dog Monty in the countryside.
