Rachelle has 30 years of experience in risk and compliance within financial services, policy, regulatory, and law enforcement sectors. She has held leadership roles at AUSTRAC and at the FATF. Rachelle focuses on building and delivering effective solutions to manage financial crime risk.

Gavin Coles has had a 30 year career in identifying, investigating, and preventing financial crime risk, across Asia, Australasia, Europe, and the United States. He has worked for the National Criminal Intelligence Service and Cabinet Office in the UK, been an AML officer for Banks in four countries, and spent almost ten years in Private Banking for Citi at the international level overseeing the AML Program. He is proud to be part of the world-leading AML professional community in Australasia, where ability to move rapidly and try new approaches has resulted in ground breaking advancements in the fight against financial crime. He now consults to organisations across Australasia and elsewhere on financial crime and AML risk issues, providing practical advice to Boards and Executives.

Brien has a diverse career spanning Technology Operations, Banking, Enterprise Program Delivery and Financial Crime.  Brien recently contracted to a Big 4 Australian Bank where he established a new regime for managing the Financial Crime risks associated with new and existing customers in select ‘higher risk’ industries, which required a new KYC and ECDD approach.

Prior to that Brien worked in a Financial Crime consulting practice where he provided SME knowledge across a variety of engagements including AML Program uplifts, Independent Reviews, Cross Border payment reviews for AUSTRAC reporting entities across a variety of industry sectors.

Brien is the co-chair of the ACAMS Australasia Environmental Crimes Task Force and a member of the ACAMS Australasia Board. He holds an International Diploma of AML/CTF from the Manchester University and a Masters of AML/CTF from Charles Sturt University.

Brien lives with his family in Sydney.

Martin has consulted full-time as an AML/CFT specialist since 2012. He has assisted entities across every sector of capture through the provision of audit, consulting, and training services in New Zealand, Australia, Samoa, and Vanuatu. 

Prior to forming Martin Dilly AML, Martin commenced his career as a corporate solicitor at Russell McVeagh and held senior legal and compliance roles at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. – New Zealand and with Heartland Building Society as Head of Compliance. During his time with Heartland, Martin also acted as company secretary for NZSX-listed company, Heartland New Zealand Limited. Martin was also a director of AML Solutions where he was responsible for running the delivery team that assisted over 700 clients across every sector.

Martin is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and was the first person in Australasia to gain the CAMS Audit advanced certification. He has been internationally recognised by being appointed to the ACAMS teaching faculties for CAMS and CAMS-Audit.

Mr. Griffith is the Regional Director of Business Development, Australasia at ACAMS. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial-crime related industry, Nick has been actively engaged with the professionals from the public and private sectors, especially with his support of the ACAMS community as a result. 

Mr. Griffith previously held the position of Regional Sales Director, North Asia with Thomson Financial where his work centred on providing compliance solutions for the major financial institutions across the region. Mr. Griffith was the Asia Pacific founder of World-Check, a globally recognised and market leading AML/CTF and Sanctions compliance solution which today is part of Refinitiv and used by the 50 largest banks in the world as well as several thousand other regulated entities. 

As an independent consultant he worked to successfully help build both Fintech and RegTech businesses. Mr Griffith is highly client-centric and is passionate about providing the right solution to meet the Member’s specific needs. He attained a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Marketing from Kingston University, London.

Neil has a unique background in financial crime risk management, spanning over 20 years. This includes working within Law Enforcement investigating financial crime, including domestic and international fraud and money laundering, and also as a Financial Services Regulator, developing financial crime regulation and supervision techniques.

He has also worked at senior levels managing AML, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery compliance across Europe, the US, Latin America, Asia and Australia for four global Financial Institutions, including one of the major Australian banks.

Neil has also been a Director at a “big 4” Consultancy Firm, where he advised clients within financial services, and from the resources and charities/NGO sectors, in relation to AML/CTF, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption matters.

Based in Australia, Neil runs his own consultancy practice which provides advice and assistance to financial services businesses and in relation to financial crime risk, controls and regulation, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF), Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) globally.

Jeremy Moller is a risk advisory lawyer based in Sydney. He has over 15 years' experience working in Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand as a lawyer specialising in anti-money laundering, international sanctions and export controls as well as foreign transparency and influence. Jeremy’s work includes leading, implementing and reviewing financial crime programs, such as conducting business wide risk assessments, as well as advising on litigation arising out of regulatory investigations and acting on Royal Commissions.

Jeremy recognises the importance of both improving customer experience and ensuring compliance. Having led an in-house risk and compliance function for an international law firm, he has a unique understanding of the synergies between both legal compliance and operational risk management. For this reason he has a particular interest in the launch of Australia’s new government led Digital ID and how this can benefit existing and new reporting entities with undertaking customer due diligence.

Crispin is an award-winning, Financial Crime Risk & Compliance specialist with extensive experience in regulatory compliance, risk controls, governance and assurance. He is currently a Director in Custos Advisory. 

Crispin’s in-depth remediation experience in resolving deficiencies raised in both OFAC and AUSTRAC enforcements distinguishes him as one of less than a handful of professionals with such experience in Australia. Crispin thrives in times of crisis and adversity. 

In Ria Financial Services, Crispin was recruited to remediate, redesign and rebuild its regional AML/CTF and Sanctions program. Crispin resolved the AUSTRAC enforcement on Ria in 2014. In the same year, Crispin was awarded the HEROES award by Euronet (Ria's parent company). 

Crispin previously worked at AMP, Deutsche Bank, CBA, Deloitte, Ernst & Young and OCBC Bank. At AMP, Crispin assisted in the harmonisation of AMP and AXA’s AML/CTF frameworks for use by its post-merger entity. At Deutsche Bank, Crispin was the Compliance Manager in its Central Compliance team responsible for the bank’s Asia Pacific businesses. His role covered the detection and prevention of potential market abuse, insider trading, securities fraud and market manipulation. 

In 2008, while at Deloitte, Crispin was seconded to ANZ Bank to be part of the bank's AML & Sanctions team in resolving its OFAC sanctions enforcement matter. It concerned trade finance transactions involving parties in Sudan and Cuba - countries subject to US economic sanctions. 

Crispin is a Certified Advanced AML Audit Specialist (CAMS-Audit), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Crispin co-authored the CAMS study guide and exam questions. He authored the book on the revision to the FATF 40 Recommendations, available on Amazon and teaches International Financial Crime to postgraduate students at the University of Sydney. He regularly presents and publishes his writings through his website, AML Sanctions http://amlsanctions.com. 

Crispin has developed deep relationships with regulators and law enforcement agencies in combating financial crime over several years. He is an expert member of The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime. At the invitation of the Australian Parliamentary Joint Committee on Law Enforcement, Crispin spoke as an industry witness at the “Inquiry into Financial Related Crime”.
