Master in Business Administration from Coppead/UFRJ and postgraduate in computer networks from NCE/UFRJ, he has been an analyst at the Superintendency of Private Insurance – Susep since 2002, currently working in the General Coordination of Consolidated Supervision, responsible for AML/CTF at the Authority. He also serves as a Susep Councilor on the Financial Activities Control Council, as a representative and focal point of Susep in the National Strategy to Combat Corruption and Money Laundering – Enccla and participates in the Brazilian delegations of FATF/FATF, GAFILAT, and SGT-4 of Mercosur.

The Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP) is responsible for controlling and supervising the insurance, reinsurance, open private pension plans and capitalization markets (Decree- law 73/1966, Decree-law 261/1967, Complementary Law 109/2001, Complementary Law 126/2007). SUSEP is a special administrative agency, responsible for applying AML measures to the insurance and capitalization sector.
