Andrew (Andy) Reitmeyer is the Director of International Liaison and Strategy. In this role, Andy created the strategic planning and operational support branch of the Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigation’s Global Operations. International Liaison and Strategy focuses on enhancing the international footprint for IRS-CI with foreign countries, organizations and law enforcement agencies. In his twenty years with IRS, Andy held various domestic and international senior leadership positions in Services & Enforcement and Operations Support organizations. Most recently, Andy served as the first IRS Employee Engagement and Retention Officer. For more than eight years, he was responsible for developing and implementing engagement strategies for more than 80,000 IRS employees and business units.
Andy earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Point Park University, a Juris Doctor from Taft University and a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University. In addition, he has a French Language Diploma from the French Ministry of Education. Andy is a graduate of the 2014 IRS Executive Development Program. In 2021, Andy was selected to serve on the Human Capital Institute (HCI) Practitioner Advisory Board.
