There’s no doubt about it, the content in ACAMS Today is well-written and enjoyable to read. But most importantly, the publication provides a relevant, timely resource our members can consult in their daily AML/CFT duties.
This is thanks to the professional dedication of our contributors who share their knowledge and expertise with great enthusiasm in an effort to provide guidance to other AML/CFT professionals faced with daily challenges in this volatile field.
As such, we would like to honor these dedicated writers for all of their hard work. Send an email to editor@acams.org and nominate an article from the past year (2008) that you enjoyed the most or found the most useful. Please indicate the article title, author and the edition in which it was printed. Also, include a brief summary to support your case. All nominations must be received by August 1, 2009.
At the Annual Conference in Las Vegas, we will announce the winner and bestow upon him or her achievement of author of ACAMS Today Article of the Year.
The winner will receive a reproduced plaque of the chosen article as a small token of appreciation.
Last year’s winner was Mr. Charles Falciglia, CAMS, for his article entitled “Suspicious activity? Go straight to the source,” which appeared in the in the September/October 2007 edition. |
